Build user trust and improve the developer portal

Belvo is a Fintech company working on an Open Finance API focused on the Latin America market. I had the opportunity to help them on two projects, their customer-facing widget and their developer portal.
Belvo’s Connect Widget
In the data, we spotted a big drop in this critical part of the user flow. After asking users, we realised they were not trusting Belvo’s widget. They have to trust an external partner (Belvo) within the experience of an app working also on getting their trust. Since it's new and dealing with money, trust is very hard to obtain, especially in Latam where scams are all over the place.
The previous widget home screen was not introducing Belvo as a partner. My hypothesis was that someone cannot trust a product when they are hiding their identity.
That's why I worked on a solution where we show clearly that the app is using a partner to deal with the bank connection.
“XXX uses Belvo to connect your account”
On top of that, we are showing both logos and I reduced the content to be more efficient.
The volume of connexion being too low at the time to measure with AB testing, it was launched first partially then fully. I left the company at that moment. Apparently, and from what I heard, this version is converting better than the previous one and still the one in use today.
Developers Portal
The goal was to create a clearer content about what an engineering team can expect with theBelvo API. When a prospect is putting Belvo in competition with other similar products, they assess the technical part. The previous homepage and content structure was not clear and complete enough.
The output, still in place, shows a much more professional and advanced product than the previous landing page, leading to more traction for the sales team.
I created both the design and HTML CSS integration within Readme.
